Meets as needed to work with the administration in establishing and reviewing annual budget. Determine short and long term budgetary planning and financial goals. Golf Tournament Committee Co-Chairmen, Betsy Dupuis of Babst, Calland, Clements, & Zomnir P.C. and Chris Schoonmaker of S&A Homes Inc. Meets at 7:30 am on the 3rd Friday of the Month (January – October) Oversee planning and responsible for all aspects of the Annual Bricks and Sticks Golf Classic. This project is planned in partnership with Tri-County Habitat for Humanity. Home Show Committee Chairman, Don Gilmore of Gilmore Construction Meets at noon on the 1st Thursday of the Month (August – May) Provide an annual showcase for products and services related to the home building industry, educate the consumer and promote the BA. Responsible for move-in, set-up, tear-down, move-out, ticket sales, seminars, booth judging, budget, advertising and signs. Legislative Committee Chairman, Dan Wise of Wise Construction Meets at noon on the 3rd Monday of the Month (Year Round) Monitor local legislative and regulatory activities relating to the BA, support state and national legislative activities. Keep membership informed. Maintain personal contact with government officials. Plan and facilitate monthly Code Forums. Long Range Planning Committee Association President Meets as needed Set strategic planning sessions to study current and future direction of the BA. Implement and oversee the long range plan. Marketing/PR Committee Chairman, George McMurtry of America’s Carpet Outlet Meets at noon on the 4th Thursday of the Month (Year Round) Recommend and implement programs to promote and publicize activities, goals, and achievements of the BA. Develop an advertising image campaign. Membership Committee Chairman, LeAnn Houser of Sovereign Bank Meets at noon on the 2nd Wednesday of the Month (Year Round) Recruit and retain members through comprehensive membership program. Develop programs to increase membership participation and awareness. Nominating Committee Association Immediate Past President Meets as needed from August to October Provide a slate of directors, qualify board of director candidates. Parade of Homes and Landscapes Committee Chairman, Denny Cisney Jr. of Cisney & O’Donnell Inc. Meets at noon on the 3rd Wednesday of the Month (April - October) Oversee planning and responsible for all aspects for the Parade of Homes and Landscapes. Remodeler’s Council Committee No Current Chairman. Meets as needed Provides educational services for its members; monthly membership meetings and social events throughout the year.
