| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BUILDERS ASSOCIATION OF CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA July 31, 2006 BUILDERS ASSOCIATION OF CENTRAL PA -AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP The Builders Association of Central PA would like to congratulate Cody Goss of State College as the recipient of the 2006 Kevin L. Zimmerman Building Industry Scholarship. This $500 Scholarship is given to a Centre County senior who plans to attend The Pennsylvania College of Technology studying in the building trades. A 3.0 GPA is required to be eligible. Applicants had to complete a form and provide information about their accomplishments, volunteer and extracurricular activities, and their career goals. The 2006 recipient of the Kevin Zimmerman Building Industry Scholarship, Cody Goss of State College Area High School is planning to attend Penn College in the fall to study Architectural Technology and Residential Building Construction Management. During high school, Cody had maintained an excellent grade point average, earning honor roll or high honor roll every semester of his high school career. He is a five time winner of the State College Area High School Power of the Paw Award. He also participated on the varsity football and volleyball team. He has earned construction and design experience through working for his father Jeff Goss of Rocket-7 Design Inc. In the future, Cody plans to start his own design and construction business. The Builders Association of Central PA has established this scholarship in memory of Kevin L. Zimmerman, a past president of the Association. During his tenure with the Association, Kevin served as president, recruited many new members, organized special events, and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. Kevin was a Boy Scout Leader, member of AOPA (Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association), and a member of the National Street Rod Association. Kevin was CEO of Pinehurst Homes, Inc., State College, PA.
