The Pennsylvania Housing Research Center (PHRC) serves the home building industry and the residents of Pennsylvania by improving the quality and affordability of housing. We conduct applied research, foster the development and commercialization of innovative technologies, and transfer appropriate technologies to the housing community. The PHRC's training programs and publications provide continuing education and professional development to the residential construction industry including but not limited to architects, code officials, landscape architects, professional engineers, and remodelers.
The PHRC is housed within the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Penn State. For more information about the PHRC (publications, webinars, conferences), check out our website, phrc.psu.edu.
